Who will be speaking at the event?
Jilla Bond, Senior Care Advisor at The Good Care Group
Jilla Bond has worked with the Good Care Group since 2012, first as a carer and then, for the last four years, as a Care Advisor. During her business career, she was also primary carer for her own Mother, and her sick husband, which gave her real insights into the challenges of finding appropriate care.
Harvey Gelman, Director and Estate Planning Consultant of Later Life Legals
Harvey Gelman is an Estate Planning Expert with over
30 years experience and a Member of the Society of Will Writers (SOWW). Harvey will talk about Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys, including what they are and the benefits of having them in place. He will also touch upon other Estate Planning needs that may benefit families and individuals.
Joanne Brown, Director and Financial Consultant at Later Life Matters
Joanne Brown is Financial Planner specialising in Long Term Care and is a fully accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) in giving advice about the financial issues around Later Life. Joanne will talk about Long Term Care Matters including what Long Term Care is, Options regarding Paying for Care, State Funding and Long Term Care Funding Options. She will also talk about State Benefits and how to find out if you are eligible for them.
