Love was in the air for Julie and Dan Ritchie at a Valentine’s disco at Mill Green Golf Club. The evening was in aid of local charity HAD and the Welwyn Garden City couple had good reason to party as they were celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary.
Julie, who works as an administrator for HAD’s Driving Centre, invited a group of workmates to join in the fun and in all 70 revellers enjoyed a night of music, merriment and dancing.
Julie and Dan tied the knot on February 16 2002 at Theobalds Park, Cheshunt, a former school Julie’s Dad, Tony Love, attended. “We thought it would be great to celebrate our anniversary with work colleagues and the evening was made extra special as it was raising money for HAD,” Julie explained.

The event was organised by club captains Chris Myers and Anita Marques and raised £500.
“This is the first of many events we will be holding in aid of HAD in 2019,” Chris said. “We have a quiz on April 26, comedy night on May 11, Abba night on June 8 and our charity golf day a week later,” he added.
